So, I have obviously known Becca for a long time. She was the flower girl at my wedding actually. Time has flown by since she was the 3 year old who cut her own hair just weeks before my wedding to the girl she is now.
She is smart, funny, beautiful and luckily for me, tolerant of her mom and my antics. My daughter Belle is is 6 years younger than Bec, and when I tell Sue ( her mom ) something that Belle has done Susan often responds ” she is just like Bec”. You have no idea how good that makes me feel. Like we are on the right path. Anyways Bec, I hope you like the pictures. I think they are beautiful.

Last week I got to hang out and photograph Sofia and her mom and dad! Miss Sofia is just adorable and full of spunk.
I think that one of the best parts of my job is seeing parents who are just over the moon in love with their kids. Sofia is definitely a lucky little girl.
When I photograph kids this young I am always singing to them to get them to smile, I try songs like “wheels on the bus” and “if you’re happy and you know it” you know, all the regular songs. Turns out Sofia’s favorite son is ” Barbara Ann by the Beach Boys! Good thing her mom was there to sing it for us!

I always have so much fun working with preschools age kids. Some are quick to smile, some require a a joke or a silly song. Whatever it takes, it is worth it! I always end up smiling too.

I had so much fun photographing Jordan. He is just a good kid, a kid you would like to know. He is athletic and smart and funny and plays the guitar to boot!
